Menstrual Equity

In "Menstrual Equity," a project using digital illustration and printed stickers, I aimed to raise awareness about a cause that has become increasingly relevant due to recent events in America. These icons highlight issues such as women's bodies being treated as property, represented by the handcuffed uterus icon, and the challenges menstruating individuals face in accessing affordable, safe menstrual products. High taxes on feminine hygiene products and the use of harsh chemicals in their production are significant problems. The taboo surrounding menstruation is reflected in icons like the shushing uterus and the government building supported by tampons.
