NWA Biz Women

"NWA Biz Women" is a project consisting of a printed zine and a website. Conducted as part of a human-centered design class, the semester-long project aimed to support local female-owned businesses struggling to compete in a community dominated by big businesses and chains. My group and I gathered information from these businesses to create individual zines about each company. Additionally, I developed a website to serve as a database for those seeking to shop locally. I also contributed significantly to the project's identity system, using female-designed typefaces and a bold color palette to reflect the vibrant and hardworking nature of the businesswomen we represented.
